Neka Ride - Sunday 7th September A very brief ride report: about 7 of us met at loftus for the 9am sharp departure (ha ha!) . Leaving a few minutes after Neka's mad mates we headed down to Stanwell
Tops, Mt Kiera up to the Robbo pie shop Neka, I won't spoil your online reputation..... Michael Kangroo Valley Weekend Away - 13th ,14th Sept Friday night's thunder and lightening had made everyone paranoid about the weekend away, but the sun was up bright and early for us on Saturday - someone must have had a word with the woman upstairs! There was a fair bunch of us along for the ride: the hardcases staying overnight, and a few extras coming along for the day, plus SteveB and cruiserchick Ruth *DUCK!* who met us at Robbo. And so we set off along SteveH's carefully planned route of regular coffee
stops! This is the life :) It was a bit windy along the ridges, but the
day was gorgeous and the roads were empty of cages.. all bar our lovely
VW Combi support vehicle, ably manned by SteveS and Carolyn. I was extra
happy too, having convinced Rob to ride the GPX for a day so I could have
the SV, MWAHAHAHA!! By the time we The campsite was good, the pub was better, and the covered Finally it was time to head home. SJ, Liam and Sean met us at the campsite
at midday - I think that tops Srool's record for being late! :) - and
off we went. The group split at Robbo, some heading home via Picton and
others via Wollongong and the Nasho, still in the Words by Sophie

Ride Cancelled, or not. About 8 bikes turned up for a run to the Halfway house. We left McGrath's Hill around 9:45 for the run down the Putty Rd. Once out the other side of Colo there where only a few cages and one Police vechile. It was a 4WD traveling in the other direction so it had no chance of catching back up to us. Everyone made it to the Halfway house in one piece, coffee was drunk and stories told. After we all had a break it was time to head off again. With the rain clouds starting to build and the Moto GP on it was decided to head back to Windsor. I arrived home dry and in time to watch the end of the 125 on Foxtel, I had a great run today and hope every one got home safetly. Shaun, Ducati ST4 (the blue one) |
