Sunday 19th May - Robertson Pie Shop

This ride was a beauty. We had a simply glorious day for it. Many thanks to the Ducati club who so kindly offered to marshal for us. They were excellent with very clear turn signaling .. very impressive indeed. I don't think we lost anybody! (not that we usually do ..)

Like most rides, we had to start out with the mandatory coffee (is that how the Ducati Latte Club came up with their name?) before picking up some more Ducati boys at Loftus Oval. Needless to say, lots of Ducati riders, but that's OK, we won't hold that against them! It was rather fun for us lassies.

At our first stop at Stanwell Tops, we took a stack of photos. In case you can't tell, we love taking photos! The group ones are always the amongst the best..

Robertson was bloody freeeezzzzing! The pie shop where we were joined by Craig and Sarah, was a treat and warm. This was Craig's first outing after his nasty accident - that bloody taxi driver! We've put an APB out on him.

While some of us caught up on the gossip and stayed inside, the wild ones took an extra lap and almost forgot us! With such a cool afternoon we just HAD to stop at Bowral pub and sit on top of the fire (literally) to warm up. Thank god for that. Debs burnt her arse! Then of course the die-hards also stopped for another drink at the Wolloomooloo Bay Hotel, where puke puke .. certain people were very gushy, while others moaned over relationship fatalities.

Friday 31st May - Pub Crawl at the Rocks

What a bloody bad hang-over from this one! What a great evening was had! Happy Birthday Robyn! We had a great time helping you celebrate your birthday. We started off at the Pelican bar (is that right?) at Star City for cocktails.. then progressed to the Slip-Inn where we met some more dudes.. and from there the night was a blurr..

Well, some dancing, more drinking, and flirting, and more dancing.. we staggered our way from pub to pub across to the Orient at the Rocks. I think the Forbes was in there too.. since it looked familiar when I walked past it the other day, and wondered how I knew it!

So, Robyn was well cared for as the photos indicate.. lots of those Bacardi Breezers. They had to be the Watermelon ones, because they produce RED tongues that are SO attractive when poked out, but not so nice when sloshed in one's ear! (not sure whose that was, since Michael was conveniently in Melbourne at the time).

Many thanks to Robyn for entertaining drunken parties at the end of the evening. An easy ending after a fun night! Partings were sad.
