What should I bring?
A fold-up chair, extra fuel, any tools required, a hat, towel, change of clothes, food and plenty of water. Or what ever you can fit on your bike. If you have a bike trailer, or you can twist the arm of a mate who has a bike trailer? Then that is the best way to get to and from the track.
I want to know more!
There are 4 groups of riders starting from Slow - White (C), Medium - Yellow (B2), Medium-Fast - Green (B1) and Red - Fast (A). First timers are encouraged to start in Slow White (C) group and participate in a first timers steering drill/course which is run through the day by the instructors. You must have at least a provisional rider’s license to ride on the track.
Turn up around 7:30 to 8:00am and go straight to the registration office to complete your paperwork. Don’t forget to bring your road legal license. Then find us in the reserved Bikers Anon garage where, among us there will be enough smarts available to provide general mechanical advice and support for your bike if required. We will assist you in taking your bike through scrutineering.
Rider briefing is around 8:45am and the first group gets out about 9:00am. This is B1-Green, followed by A-Red, C-White and B2-Yellow.
Please make sure you have read the policies and other information at ECRD to get an accurate understanding on what is required of you, your safety equipment and your bike. Any equipment hire should be worked out between you and ECRD prior to attending or take pot luck with availability on the day.
Track days will run in all weather conditions unless ECRD decide otherwise. Places are available until ECRD run out, which is sometimes up to 2 months before the ride date. Check the ECRD website to find out if spots are available in the group you want.
Refund policy is subject to the terms and conditions in place by ECRD. Contact them first as early as you can to work out your options when any circumstance arises.
