Attention all track day enthusiasts!
We head out to Eastern Creek for a Track/Ride Day on Saturday
12th September. Why not come along and see what all the fuss is about. Entry is free to spectators.

Track Day at EC 12/9/09
4 brave BA members ventured to Eastern Creek on Saturday 12th September for
a ride day. After the usual morning rush to get everything organised and
hearing the same old jokes during the ride briefing we got out on the track
for some fun. Nathan (Tuono), Steven (Ducati749) and myself (GSXR600) were
joined by an infiltrator Aaron (R6) in B2 group and the duelling started
immediately. We managed to stay reasonable close together lap after lap and
have some great battles among us while Garry fought in out in A group and
found Vinnie from RATS willing to join in the fun. During the 3rd session, I
was unlucky to observe the bike in front of me self destruct in a cloud of
smoke mid way down the straight and then spit the rider off on entry to turn
1. Poor bastard! Even worse for us was the oil he dropped on the track.
After a short delay for the cleanup and another rider briefing we got out
there again and the battles continued. All up the day ran very smoothly but
was cut short at 4pm due to another turn 1 accident. We were keen to go out
again, but by then we were tired and ready to go home. The highlight for me
was being able to ride together in a group and seeing us all improve with
every session. It was awesome fun and I really wanted to go again on Sunday.
